The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area, with plenty of scenic walks nearby. the lodge itself was cozy and comfortable, equipped with all the necessary amenities for a self-catering break. the office space was a nice touch for those needing to work remotely, and the strong phone signal and wifi made staying connected a breeze. the hosts were friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The highlight of our stay was the wildlife that visited the garden area daily, from colorful birds to a friendly red squirrel. It was truly a peaceful and serene environment, perfect for relaxation and enjoying nature. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a quiet retreat in a beautiful setting. I can't wait to return and experience the lodge in different seasons.
